Divinity Icons are all hand-painted with acrylic paint on ½” or ¾” thick wood panels. 23 carat gold leaf is applied on halos and optional trim discriminately. They are then varnished 4 times with a non-yellowing polyurethane varnish and finally with a polycrylic top coat.
Custom orders for an original art icon with detailed specifications will need 4-8 weeks for completion depending on size. Prices are approximately $4. per square inch for sizes over 16” x 20” and over $5 per square inch for sizes under 16” x 20”.
Plaques are available of all the original art icons. Plaques are printed copies of the original, mounted on a wood plaque.
The images are laminated onto ¾” thick wood fiber panels and the backs and sides are painted or stained. These come in various standard sizes, as shown in each of the 6 galleries.

For purchases of original painted icon we will contact you with a timeline. Normally, the painting and prepping of an original icon will take a longer time, because of the painting time and drying time. Drying properly the paint and than the top coats is very important, and will take approximately 10 days to 2 weeks.
