Here in Illinois, where myself along with
volunteers will be passing out blankets to
the many
homeless in the Illinois capital of Springfield
late
October or early November,
Many are veterans and or with mental health
issues.
There is not enough shelter space and or
people will
steal your shoes off your feet when sleeping
there,
and many of the men will be wintering over
on the cold
streets. Any donations of blankets used or
new is
appreciated...or donations
towards the $200 goal is needed for hooded
sweatshirts  for the volunteers ,with anyone
giving
25$ or more will have there name or
business put on
back as " Angels".
I would love to see other Orthodox Churches
around the
country copy this little project.
